How do I turn off automatic Hybernation. Can someone help me.?
My computer does not support automatic hybernation, yet every 3 minutes or so the screen goes completly black and goes on standby. I even turned off the screen saver and yet I am still having the same problem. Can you help me.
Do this:
1.Right-click on the desktop and select Properties from the popup menu.
2.Select the Screen Saver tab.
3.Click the button labeled Power.
4.Select the Power Scheme tab from the Power Options Properties dialog box.
5.All the way down at the bottom you should see a list box “System Hibernates” Select “Never”
6.Click OK.
That should do it.
The screen saver and standby/hibernation actually have little to do with each other, and can even get in each other’s way.
